Authorisation holder: PANNOC n.v., Lammerdries 23, PB 70 B-2250 OLEN. Composition: Pangel 5: Benzoyl peroxide 5% hydrogel. Pangel 10: Benzoyl peroxide 10% hydrogel. Indication: Acne vulgaris. Dosage and directions for use: apply to skin once per day (do not rub in). After a number of days, treatment can be upped to two applications per day. Should this (5% concentration) provide insufficient results, and the product is tolerated, a higher concentration of 10% can be employed. The choice depends on the skin-type. For a sensitive skin, the lower concentration product must be employed. If necessary, one can test the product on a small area in order to check the reaction against the product. You can dilute Pangel to a concentration of 2.5% by mixing Pangel 5% with an equal quantity of carbomer gel. This may be necessary for extremely sensitive skin-types. The 30 g and 60 g tubes are intended for topical treatment. The 100 g tube is recommended for the treatment of larger areas (such as the shoulders or back). Contraindication: oversensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients of the preparation. Side-effects: skin redness, burning sensation, dry skin, itch, flaking and cracks may occur. Sensitisation and perivascular lymphocyte infiltration may also occur.
