• Zinc oxide protects the skin and has a slightly drying effect. It is used for skin conditions such as eczema, itching, cold sores, bedsores, genital herpes and broken corners of the mouth. Zinc oxide relieves itching. 10% Zinc oxide is the most common in cosmetics.
• White petroleum jelly: occlusive effect - it forms a sealing layer on the skin that reduces transepidermal moisture loss. This keeps the skin hydrated, which helps maintain supple and soft skin and prevents further dehydration.
• Lanolin: Lanolin oil is a waxy substance derived from sheep. Wool fat is extracted from sheep wool by washing it and then letting the water evaporate. Then it is cleaned. So it has an animal origin. A limited part of the population is allergic to lanolin. It greases the skin and makes it supple and soft, all very effective. It prevents moisture loss from the skin and, on the other hand, keeps it hydrated for a long time. It helps maintain the skin's natural pH.
