Each ointment base is developed and produced in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, in our renewed cleanroom. Our new cleanroom is designed to be able to produce at the highest level and not allow any form of cross contamination. This way, you can be sure of a product that meets the highest standards of quality, stability and safety.
All Pannoc ointment bases comply with Belgian raw material legislation and have an official license number (excluding Emulsifying Ointment) from the Ministry of Health - FAMHP - awarded on the basis of an official pharmacopoeia monograph or, if not available, a monograph prepared by Pannoc.
This unique Belgian legislation — not in force anywhere else in the EU — guarantees the optimal quality of the raw materials and simplifies the pharmacist's work considerably: identity analyses are no longer required, just keeping the license numbers in a register is sufficient. Licensed and permanently monitored for years — the most carefree choice for masterful preparations.
In order to fully focus on production and ensuring the highest quality standards, Pannoc set up a distribution partnership with Magis Pharma in 2021 regarding Pannoc's BaseCare range, in particular the ointment bases.
Within this collaboration, Pannoc takes responsibility for production, while Magis Pharma is responsible for commercial and logistical activities. This model ensures the wide availability of our BaseCare Range at pharmacies, wholesalers and groups. In addition, the collaboration has led to the introduction of new references, including HydroPannoc Cream, Emulsifying Ointment and Zinc Oxide Paste 25%.
Magis Pharma acts as the exclusive distributor of the Pannoc Basecare range. As a result, all Pannoc cream bases and ointment products are available via the Magis Pharma webshop, via their representatives or directly via the wholesaler. The exclusive partnership underlines the position of both parties as reliable partners in the pharmaceutical sector, with a shared focus on quality and availability.
