Basis Beeler

Basis beeler is a classic pharmaceutical cream base of the oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion type. Due to its anionic character, it forms a stable, hydrophilic carrier for dermatological preparations.

Properties
Basis beeler is a hydrophilic oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion base with an anionic emulsifying system, which ensures good physical stability.
The base has a pleasant, non-greasy texture, spreads easily, and can be simply washed off with water.
It is suitable for the incorporation of various dermatological active ingredients and promotes an even distribution of these substances over the skin surface. Due to its anionic character, basis beeler is incompatible with cationic substances.

Therapeutic application
Basis beeler is used as a vehicle for dermatological medications and skin care preparations. Due to its hydrophilic nature, it is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute and subacute skin conditions where a non-occlusive effect is desired. The base can be used for formulations including corticosteroids, retinoids, antimicrobial agents, and other topically active substances.
